Nope. Not the REC Nav unit anyway.

You need a unit with internet access. Mine uses the cell phone network to report on traffic problems.

Hmmm, since the REC unit is DVD-based, the best my system could do is tell me about a problem at Main Street and Clark back in 2006 when the DVD was created [wry smile].

with Traffic/weather Sat feature
Real time traffic weather is an additional feature with Certain XM radios

Ok. Too bad Sirius doesn't have that info like XM. I guess you would need it city by city and that might be a lot of eaten bandwidth that knocks out music channels.

The mygig has this feature I am pretty sure. It uses sirius for info on the major cities
