Get your nomination in for the voting for December's POTM!

It's POTM time again! Let's send 2009 out with a bang!

Each member will be allowed to nominate TWO fellow members to be entered in the running for this month's POTM! Please simply separate your two entries by a comma and I will count both of them in the final tally. Also, be sure to get BOTH of your nominees on ONE ballot. I will only accept the first ballot I receive from each member.

Nominations will be taken until noon, November 24th. Afterward, the the voting will run for a week (which will include the top four members who received the most nominations)! I will post pictures and some other information regarding each member's ride so be prepared!

NOTE: Keep in mind, the owner is every bit as important as the vehicle in this community. I've seen a few gripes lately about relatively stock Patriots winning POTM. Anyone can shell out cash for fancy toys, but the truly valuable community members are those who contribute to our forums.

Thanks for this note, Gaze. I stopped participating in POTM simply because the selections, in my view, were geared to those who upgraded their tires or put on a lift, and then disappeared; maybe they couldn't afford their internet anymore!

Case in point, the assumption that Mattdunc should be guaranteed a POTM award for simply donating his Patriot to the build of bumpers. Though we all appreciate this, I personally don't view it as a "gimme". Since Matt is overseas, there was no real sacrifice on his part to let Kennesaw use his Patriot, and I assume he gets a free set of bumpers out of this (a $1k+ value). His real sacrifice has been serving our country and being away from his family and friends, far more noble. Maybe when Matt gets back from war he can participate more in the forum and put those bumpers to the test! Then, I could see a POTM nomination or award.

Just my $0.02 as a beginning member of the forum, take it or leave it.

Since I can't nominate myself, I'll never win... ;-)

I just nominated Will H and todde702.
Will H because of his tow hook pioneering (which I *still* totally appreciate) and active involvement and offroading.

todde702 for his experimentation and dissection of the Patriot front end to resolve and explain rattles, bangs, and clunks. Gotta respect that.

Someday, I might do something nomination-worthy!
