jcollins1888 11-14-2009, 10:25 PM i like the front end look like a good idea
heckler 11-15-2009, 04:24 PM do mine! (the front grill black I mean) Thanks!

tiptronic 11-15-2009, 04:55 PM Well Yes!! That black front panel certainly adds something to the White Pat....Nice. I would think any spray shop should be able to do that at a reasonable price.
limitlessborders 11-15-2009, 10:42 PM do mine! (the front grill black I mean) Thanks!

blitzbuggy 11-15-2009, 10:44 PM looks familiar..........
limitlessborders 11-15-2009, 10:50 PM indeed........
heckler 11-15-2009, 11:23 PM thanks, but the new picture's too dark to see the contrast between grill and mud.
limitlessborders 11-15-2009, 11:27 PM Quick adjustment for ya.

heckler 11-16-2009, 12:44 AM yes. hmmm... I like it!
dixiedawg 11-16-2009, 08:08 AM You photoshop folks need to get muddy more often, lmao. The mud always runs up over the windshield, sort of right over the side mirrors, and over onto the roof, from the front tires. One way I can always tell if those are real, or photoshopped.
limitlessborders 11-16-2009, 01:22 PM Also for those DIY rattle canners. Duplicolor High temp ceramic engine paint is great. excellent at sticking to metal, fiberglass and plastic. Will probably do it to the jeep. I painted my bike with it. Side panels and front mudguard.

heckler 11-16-2009, 10:58 PM dixie, the only thing photoshopped about my picture is the grill colour.
mud on the roof?
limitlessborders 11-17-2009, 09:17 AM dixie, the only thing photoshopped about my picture is the grill colour.
mud on the roof?
I think dixie is commenting on my photoshoped pic, I need more mud.
dixiedawg 11-17-2009, 09:51 AM When I run through the mud, which is often lol, the mud from the front tires seems to go up over the roof, right about where the side mirrors are. I've thought about wheel well extensions, but I'm not sure I like the look.
I'll have to take a photo next time. I usually only take photos of the Jeep when it's clean, so I'll have to change my thinking.
limitlessborders 11-17-2009, 11:07 AM MORE MUD! And I found some random guy who wanted to board it up.

cdrift 01-29-2010, 02:12 AM good way to piss of the wife if she leaves the window open
qingtan 02-12-2010, 09:42 AM Interesting picture
robi454 02-12-2010, 04:47 PM If I bought a white one I would paint the grill like that but I wouldn't do that to my sexy black.
stretch 02-13-2010, 10:49 AM MORE MUD! And I found some random guy who wanted to board it up.

stretch 02-13-2010, 10:50 AM All your boarders are belong to us!
limitlessborders 06-24-2010, 06:31 PM Also, Riot goes into shop this tuesday to fix some damage from someone backing into it!!!!! BUT, with the repair I am having them paint the bumper and grill matte black to match the wheels! So pumped. I almost have this jeep, just need lift and lights next.... and to find the boarder.
Moquito 08-29-2011, 01:01 PM Awesome!! You just made my day, I already have the paint and was nervous about how it would look. I am going for it. I'll post pics as soon as I get it done.
Moquito 09-13-2011, 11:25 PM Here is what it looks like painted with plasti dip.

Hitman Hugh 09-22-2011, 01:05 PM Here is what it looks like painted with plasti dip.
It's extremly dark.
Moquito 09-22-2011, 01:15 PM ya, its not dark gray for sure. but the way I took the picture was against the sunlight and looks really dark. its just like any other mate black.
Hitman Hugh 09-22-2011, 04:53 PM Yeah, I had a feeling it was just the way the light was. I bet it looks real good in person :)
Moquito 09-22-2011, 08:02 PM ya, I changed the brightness a bit and some tweaking in my avatar picture, that is how it looks like in person. It is worth it!
