He was a spammer. Unfortunately, every forum get's em. Over on my largest forum (over 9,000 members...)we ban a couple a day.

Spammers join just to post unwanted advertisements...usually for stupid stuff.

Sad fact of life... Just wait until people figure out a way to send spam text messages to your cell-phone.. I've heard that in Europe they are having issues with spam being sent via bluetooth! Some are debating if it ok for stores to send "commercials" to your cell-phone as you walk past their storefront.
