Has anyone from Canada sucessfully activated their Sirius radio? My dealer showed me how to get the 12 digit code for the radio but I can't find anywhere on the website that will accept it so it will work after the 2-week demo period is over.
Not sure if it's actually different between Canada and the US or not.
Much appreciated.

When we bought our Pat, Sirius was already working. When I called Sirius to switch out our old receiver to the Pat, I was informed that the Pat receiver was activated and prepaid for 1 year. I was told that the dealership had this done about a week prior to us purchasing it, I just had to call back in about 11 months to get things switch over to us.

Our Sirius was already set up by the dealer.
I wanted to get a Sirius ID so that I could listen to Sirius online. Got the radio ID of the unit, called Sirius Canada, was set up in 5 minutes, for online listening. The account was switched to my name and discovered that my 12 month paid sub was actually 15 months!

Go to sirius.com and click on listen online. Everything you'll need to do can be found there.

I can't remember off hand how to get the id, but the kind lady I talked to at Sirius knew how to get it. I've got the nav and it was something like Info + some other button and the number comes up on the screen.
The Sirius folks know exactly how to get the id.

Doubt it, but you could always by an XM or Sirius unit and add it on.

If it didn't come with it from the factory yesish. You could purchase the factory Sirius system with everything for around $350 then install it. Or you could go the cheaper route and buy a plug and play radio from Sirius and a FM Modulator for around $50 and install it.

For the REC radio (the one with the navigation system) to access the ID...
With the Patriot ignition set to ACC/ON and the radio off (just the time appears), press the Load and SET/RND buttons at the same time. A big honkin' number will appear. To make the number disappear, press the on/off knob.
