Hello:

I am in the market for my vehicle and have been leaning towards the Patriot, but keep going back and forth... and keep considering the Compass. But, although I have driven Patriots at the dealership, I have not yet driven a Compass.

Yet, tonight, while looking at images of the Compass, I notice... there is NO DOOR HANDLE ON THE BACK DOORS ON THE OUTSIDE. There is a door handle/release on the inside, but not on the outside.

Can anyone shed light on this.... why? purpose? do you like/dislike this "feature"?

It is on the outside. It is up and to the left of where you would normally see it. Just follow the outline of the entire door and you will find it.

Look on the rear back "black pillar (vertical)". That bulge is the door handle.

Yes, I like the door handle "feature" up there on the back edge of the window.
