Can somebody explain why, on the 360 tour, third row seatbelts are shown in the interiors when this vehicle will clearly not be featuring three rows of seats? I would chalk it up to an animator’s mistake, but that would seem like a pretty big error that managed to get by quite a few people in the marketing department. Am I missing something here?

Interesting... I found it too. I had to go to the interior view and than click on outside for it to be seen more easily. would be cool to see an option for 3rd row seating.

My guess is they used the 3D model for a larger Jeep that they had already modeled in the computer and just tweaked it. Time constraints and budget probably caused it to get put out... as one who does some 3D modeling, its pretty easy to see that happening.

That is pretty cool. At least Jeep is throwing us a bone once in awhile, just to hold our interest.

they definitely could've tweaked the commander 360 to make the patriot one (and left the third row seatbelts) since the picture for the interior view 360 is of the interior of a commander, not a patriot ...

but then again, the interior 360 of the compass also has third row seat belts ... maybe it's for cargo? i didn't notice them when i've looked inside a compass.

Compass doesnt have them, neither does the Caliber. They both have a seat belt anchor point at the right rear for the center 2nd row seat belt. They can retract the entire belt up into the roof there, and it clips to a slot in the trim for storage when you dont need a center belt for the rear.

I am partial to the green and the red.My wife says she'll wait till she sees one in person.

I will need to see them in person, too. I wish they made a deep, dark blue or a dark metallic graphite color.

All for the the dark metallic graphite, rescue green or SEMA orange. The colors on the website are kinda basic.
