Have anyone priced winter tires, my limited has P215/65r17's on it now.
Was thinking about getting steel winter rims also, would it be better to go with a 16" steel rim and a bigger tire combo, or stick with 17" all the way.
Figured 16's would be cheaper and easier to get.
Although would like a wider tire like a P235/65r17, would they fit?

studded rims for winter you want to go as narrow as possible. look at rally cars on ice/snow rallys....185/65x16 seems common. wide tyres don't cut through the loose snow to give the studs grip.
