Anybody uncover the Secret Lost Non-BS Dealer in NJ?

Been to three different places and it seems like everybody wants to sell you services you didn't ask for even though vehicle runs fine and makes vague threats about the warranty being voided if you don't let them do the work. I took my '07 Pat in because the HVAC is dripping into the car and then the fan quit. That's all warranty work but then they're telling me my fuel injectors are clogged (despite the truck running fine and having no drop in MPG... what do I know, I can't see in there!) and that they have to change the transaxle fluid and I was a bad boy for not doing it once already.

I get the fluids and filters changed on time at a local place and save my receipts. Manual says fluid is to be "checked" every 12k miles, doesn't say change it this quickly.

Just seems fishy to me. Wondering if anybody knows a good place that doesn't try to gauge how much you know about cars (in my case, not much) and then sees how much they can get away with. I didn't buy a vehicle with a lifetime warranty so it could be used as a club on me for the rest of the time I own it.

Bought my Jeep from Pellegrino Chrysler Jeep in Woodbury. As dealerships go, I had a decent experience. Had my oil changed there as well; they tried to talk me into getting my tires rotated (for a fee) since I was at about 6k miles but I told them I'm going to do every 10k. The service tech shrugged his shoulders and said "They're your tires."

I was all set to buy my Patriot from Lenihan on Route 73 in South Jersey but they didn't have the model I wanted in stock. I had a previously Jeep serviced there and had nothing but great service so they were my first stop when I was shopping for a new one. Wanted to buy it from them but it wasn't meant to be. They were one of the dealerships Chrsyler shut down so they don't sell new Jeeps anymore but they still sell them used. They still service Jeeps because they converted their shop into a NAPA service center, or something like that.

Thanks for the tip. My sister lives down that way so maybe if I need something major done I will give them a try.

My Jeep came from Pellegrino as well. No complaints in my 2+ years dealing with them.

Mine came from Freehold Jeep. A good friend of mine works there and I think I got a nice deal. The problem came with the F & I jerk who tried to add on all kinds of stuff and made the overall experience something I am trying to forget.

Bought my Wrangler from Franklin-Sussex Jeep. didn't like their service department. Did a terrible job on my softop, told them it was noisy, the top header was bowed, the told me to get a hardtop. I fixed it with Duct Tape.
