awesome! i really need to test drive it. i might today while our liberty is getting the ball joints replaced due to a recent recall (sucks!). i'll let everyone know if i test-drive it.

Just read the article before coming to this site. Hopefully, the Patriot will be getting the same positive reviews its sibling is receiving.

Let's nick the "Lame Power" argument in the bud. It's a Jeep meant for gas mileage challenged individuals, like myself. If you want power and don't care about gas mileage, then buy the SRT 8 Grand Cherokee.

Glad to see the positive feedback on a Jeep product. They have received their share of knocks over the past few years.

I test drove one and liked it. There is always a trade off for good mileage. We all want to be able to accelerate going up hill, but it costs a bunch to do that in a 350Z. So, since I own a Wrangler, and I would much prefer a Jeep to a Subaru or Honda (or such), the Compass and especially the Patriot will work well. Good mileage, some off road capability, and the JEEP on the grill.

yeah, so they didn't have the parts for the recall or any compasses in stock. hopefully when i go back once they have the parts they'll have a compass, and maybe even a new wrangler, in stock.
