Well we went out to eat last night with her parents and her brother and her brother is like 6ft. and 16yr. old. He was sitting in the middle of the rear seat. Well there was a car behind us and there lights were blinding me in the mirror! :wow: So I told her brother to move his head and sure enough his head was blocking the sensor!! I think they need to relocate the sensor!! So that pizzed me off! Anyone else have had to problem?

That's a new one, I'll have to remember that. I would have kept hitting the button and not thought to check anyone's head placement. I have noticed its not as compensating as our GM one (its uses a different color to mask the brights is my best guess?) but it works well enough. I am not sure there is a better place to put the sensor, though, $$wise anyway.

i swear mine does not even work. if i pressed auto dim on or off, it makes no difference. i think the base 4x2 model has a traditional flipping rear view.

I never think about the auto dim actually. I see that it works mind you. I will have to remember not to place my 6'4" son-in-law in the middle of the back seat - well, at least not at night.
