I ordered a plain jane yesterday & am not sure if base model's tint
will be dark enough for the New Mexico sun. Has anyone
had "silver-tint"?

I have never used it but had friends in Florida that did. They said it worked better than regular tint. I think it looks good on some vehicles but others not so much. Maybe someone could photoshop a Patriot in your color to see what it would look like.

Hubz and I have always had "limo tint" on our cars - illegal, but well worth it here in the Sunshine State.

I agree with Dan that silver tint looks good on some cars, but not on all - it really depends on the style and color of the vehicle, in my humble opinion.

IMO, it looks like crap on all cars I see it everyday on the drive through the "Ghetto" here in houston. Its popular here but really only with the lower class people. The tint it comes with works for us no one could tell if it was a little darker or not unless they where right next to you. A cop isnt going to pull you over for it but they could if they wanted to write a ticket for it if you have already been pulled over. Then play dumb act like you didnt know it was too dark and nothing will really become of it.

If the product works as it says it does, accomplishes what you are trying to do and you like how it looks on your Patriot. Go for it!

It might look pretty smart on a silver or Black Pat.

Don't think social class has anything to do with the kind of styling you want to put on a vehicle AmyK528 and moreover that kind of comment doesn't belong on a forum with people from all walks of life IMHO.

i thought & now I think black 20perct
would blend in just fine.
wondering if I should tint drivers&passengers windows 35 perct
& rest of Patriot 20 perct.
any ideas?
