Just surfing the channels last night and stopped at a show on some cross-country trek. Pretty cool. Something I've always wanted to try.
They took these stock LR3's from one side of Greenland across to the other, through the mud, fjording across bumper deep streams smashing through the 1" thick ice covering it, up some steap rocks in Utah.
Turns out it is a 1/2 hour commercial for the LR3. They really put it through some interesting places.
I didn't know they have similar 'adventure treks' like the Jeep does. I didn't like the execessive hand-holding through the courses. I know how to wheel - just want to go on a long trek with a group.
Anyway, we are going to check out the LR3 this weekend, if time permits. Just to see it in person. I am more interested in the LR2 now though... things could get interesting.
