in my opinion and that of a few others, the posting of his political agenda has gotten out of hand. I thought 'I'll just put him on my 'ignore list'. but NO, he's a Moderator and CAN'T BE IGNORED. this is wrong.

either allow us to 'ignore' Moderators OR remove 'firemothjoe' as one.

I checked 'fmj' and he is NOT listed as a "Moderator" but a "Level 2 Supporter". if I attempt to 'ignore' him, I get the above message.

It is apparently a quirk with the software.

firemothjoe is not a site moderator but he is the "moderator" of his social group tri-state MKs.

Since I am not a site admin I cannot make any kind of changes to fix this.

The sway bar is a place for non-jeep topics. If one of us doesn't like firemothjoe's comments, we can rebut them, ignore them, or start a contrary thread. He should no more be removed as moderator because someone disagrees with him than should Obama be removed because firemothjoe disagrees with him. Lighten up! :icon_rolleyes:

Gaze is the other admin.

Wade and myself are just moderators. We can get rid of spammers, move, delete and close threads.

My point is that 'fmj' is 'considered' a Moderator when you try and use the 'ignore' function. it won't let you 'ignore' a "Moderator" BUT 'fmj' is NOT a "Moderator".

I want the 'site' to be corrected. this way I can still enjoy the sway bar without the commentary from 'fmj' and others, which I HAVE already put on 'ignore' status.

I'll take a look into it, but making public demands like this typically isn't the best way to "grease the wheels" around here.
