I did a lot of research on these in 2005 when I bought the wife a new Town and Country, they have both worked great, as a matter of fact I sprayed the carpet mats hanging on the wood fence and every time it rained for about 6 mo you would see the outline of the mats on the fence.

These are (around here at least) carried at marine stores, the vinyl spray I put on a scrap of foam rubber and wipe on, really made tires on my motorcycle look good and brought back the arm rest in my '95 Dakota.

I would not recommend either on the Patriot.

The YES Essentials Seats specifically recommend against ANY protectant of any kind. As far as the dash and plastics go, a nice damp cloth works best.

I also agree. A damp cloth is best.
