Same here, getting a file failed to upload message even on files I know are not too big. Could have something to do with the server move on Monday.

Yeah, it didn't quite survive the server move that happened on Monday. Give it a few days and I think DMAG will be able to get it resolved.

Is that why I can't see any "Attached thumbnails" on older threads?

I keep checking , but still cant use Manage attatchments --or upload to gallery????

Tiptronic, it is currently broken. It may never be fixed. All you can do right now is contact DMAG and he will do his best to fix it (when he has time to check in). Until it is fixed, you are just going to have to use the Pictures and Albums located on the Community pull down menu to upload pictures.

Please read my announcement that appears at the top of the individual forums.

Because the Gallery software is antiquated we need to start using the built-in vbulletin method.

I am sorry for the inconvience.

Joe

Thanks for your concern it's not you it's the software.

Today I simply deleted all my photos from a gallery and reposted them in an album. Most members should have the originals of the photos they have placed in their galleries and be able to re-upload.
We know that our mods and admins can't run forums off a commodore 64.:)

It's too bad isn't it. Computers get more powerful and have more capacity. So much so that someone from the early 60's would think you're looney when you talk about it. Yet, the software we want to run and data to store grows just as quickly so in a way we seem to be mired in slow motion. :)
