I think it's kind of neat looking but not for me. I was looking at something and this banner came across the top so I did a search to see what was up with Ford.

It reminds me of a Subaru!

That's what I was thinking after I posted it.

It was the Ford Freestyle until the bright minds at Ford thought that they could boost its poor sales by reusing the axed Tarus nameplate and adding that all important "X" (as if to appeal to us gen X people?). They also renamed the Five Hundred (also was selling poorly) to be the Tarus sans the X. I guess this will tell if "a rose by any other name smells as sweet"?

Can you say "station wagon"? Take a freestyle, change the name and viola... Taurus X .. I drove one once while on a trip for work to the Ford plant in Louisville. Since I had to drive a Ford product to park in the lot, I rented one for the week. It's an OK vehicle, actually the first time I drove a CVT and if I didn't have to look at it sitting in the driveway, and if they cut about $7000 off the price, it wouldn't be half bad. I do, they didn't... so I won't...

There are a lot of station wagons being build right now... though they won't label as that... can you believe this is a Cadillac (http://www.leftlanenews.com/2008-cadillac-bls-wagon.html)?
or that this is a Mercedes (http://www.automobilemag.com/features/news/0707_2008_mercedes_benz_e_class/) or that the Alpha Romeo (http://www.direct-vehicle-leasing.net/images/car_images/alfa%20romeo%20159%20sportwagon.jpg)
