Yeeeaaahhhh, booooyyyyyy!!! This is gonna be a good one. The trail is rated for "real SUVs", but seeing as how we have Jeeps, I'm confident we'll do alright :smiley_thumbs_up:

Anyway, yeah, meeting at my crib in Englewood at 10am on Sunday (8/9). You can PM me for the address also.

I'm Xited!!!

This was an awesome trip. Once we got to the trail head (I wanted to try a different way), the trail only lasted less than an hour, but it packed a decent punch. The Pats had no problem with the trail, although Dadunkindude stayed away from the large rocks as he has no skid plates.

We passed two groups of Toyota trucks and SUVs, both of which gave us some smirks, snickers and laughs. Too bad none of them saw us on the rough stuff.

Okay, here's the link to my photobucket site, which apparently doesn't provide the fancy thumbnails and viewer - and I'm too lazy and irritated to upload all these to Flikr. Enjoy: CLICK (http://s198.photobucket.com/albums/aa104/DawsB/Slauterhouse%20Gulch/?albumview=slideshow).

really? I don't understand this if they were on the same trail.

Or was the Pat's trail the road that goes to the offroad place? I've got that situation up here on Eagle Ridge. There's no way the Pat'll make it up Eagle, and the road in is pretty challenging for us (I have yet to try, but think I could do it)

They were thinking we couldn't do the trail. We passed both groups before we hit the "hard" stuff.

BTW, I know how to post images but I wanted to post the nice viewer that pops up. Thanks though!
