well I took the time to burn a couple mp3 cd's for the Jeep, and lo and behold tracks playback in alphabetical order based on file name...... so I have this issue with complete cd's in a folder not playing in album order(track order) and my 50 GB music library while completely ID3 tagged is not filename set for track as the start of the filename. so here is a handy little utility

worked for me pretty good for freeware....

Do you have the nav? There is a pretty neat feature for anyone who doesnt know the "PTY" button can be pushed to let you choose the type of music. I dont know if it works with the mp3's or not but it works with my i pod kit, sat, and reg radio. Like if im useing the fm radio all i have to do is hit the button and it takes me to all rock, or country stations its pretty neat. If you have the nav its worth a shot to see if you get sorting options for mp3 disks aswell.
