Hello to all.

I have 5 Wrangler SR-A's on the 17" alloy wheels with TPMS.

My question is...will the stem on the spare tire interfere with the EVIC?

I understand that there are only 3 sensors in the wheel wells...the 4th reading is done by process of elimination...right? So wouldn't the spare interfere?

The dealer told me that they "reprogrammed" the vehicle. I don't want to believe them without any proof.

Also, what if I were to rotate the tires on my own? Would the TPMS adjust accordingly? Or would I need to have them "reprogram" again?

I just rotated my tires Monday on my own and there has been no problems! If I am correct, there are sensors on all 4 wheels and they are built in as the valve stems! I don’t think there is one on my spare on the patriot! I was thinking about putting it in with the rotation but noticed that it is just a steel wheel! ERRR! This is just my thinking, I could be wrong!!
