Granted, I haven't taken a lot of time lately to navigate the Jeep.com, but come on--what is this Go Anywhere, Do Anything Tour? It sounds as if it is a reincarnated Camp Jeep on the Road, with an updated name. If it is, it was hidden on their website! Darn.

Detroit, MI is about a 5 hour drive from our house in northwest Indiana. We would have gladly made the trip. It looks like our options now are Knoxville or Memphis, TN.

We went to a Camp Jeep on the Road two years ago and had a blast. We have been looking the last two years to no avail.

We have rearranged our schedule during our week of vacation and will now be able to attend the event in Downers Grove, IL, the weekend of August 18. We are looking forward to having a fun time.

Hmm I may try and make it too the York, PA show. What all goes on at a Camp Jeep style event?

We went to the Go Anwhere Tour and got rained out!!!! Well, almost. I did get to take a two door Wrangler around about 1/2 the course; my wife drove the 4-door Wrangler. They had obstacles set up in a small parking lot and were afraid of the liability issues, so they closed the track shortly after we started around.

Really wanted to take the Patriot for a ride, but that isn't going to happen today either. Looks like a whole bunch of rain for the Chicago area.

One good thing, we got to see an 08 Liberty up close and in person. Nice vehicle. My wife wants to test drive one before we decide what our new vehicle will be--a Patriot or 08 Liberty.
