Does anyone know where I can get a ProFit or similarly configured mount for my Patriot? I had one in my previous car which I used to mount my XM on and I really liked the look of it. The vent mounts are not an attractive option for me and I'm heistant to adhere the mount to my dash since I can't find a place it looks good attached at. Thanks in advance for any assistance/feedback.

ProFit has a catalog online that has mounts listed for the Patriot, Compass and Caliber. There are two different numbers, and it looked to me like you could use either or both. I was thinking about using two and mounting one upside down on the drivers side. Still not sure how I'm going to do mine. If I can find the part numbers on my desk somewhere tomorrow, I'll edit this post and put 'em in here.
The mounts utilize the little cubby opening below the radio. They look like they require drilling into the side of the opening for mounting screws, but I couldn't tell for sure. The pictures were kind of crappy...

OK... I was wrong, it's not ProFit that has the mounts, it's PanaVise. They have a listing for the Compass and a different listing for the Caliber
Here's the Compass link: http://www.panavise.com/nf/comm/indash/indashviewfinalimage.html?modelID=1160081761367308 03

and here's the Caliber link: http://www.panavise.com/nf/comm/indash/indashviewfinalimage.html?modelID=1167248326150634 9

You can see that they are different mounts, but since the IP's are the same, either should work.

Thanks for the info. I e-mailed the company and the cost is $32.95 with shipping. I'm definitely considering picking it up and I'll let you all know how it works out.

I found a mount from http://www.tss-radio.com/

1 x Arkon SR100 Professional Vent/Dash Mount Kit (SR100) = $12.99

It is a dash mount that can be bent at any angle. Therefore, I used adhesive to mount it in the cubby beneath the radio. It works perfect, as long as the xm/sirius radio is not too tall. If the radio is too tall it might get in the way of the radio or hvac controls.

The mount is the perfect length, and fits in the cubby very well. I am very happy with the way it turned out. I have been meaning to take pics, but can't find the time.

My only complaint is that I had to cut some plastic off of the mounting plate because it was in the way of cables going to the back of the radio.
