We added a small feature, but one that some of the members have asked for.

If you go in to your Control Panel (CP) and edit your profile, you will now see a section titled "Ride". Enter in your info, and everyone will be able to see what you drive whenever you post! The info will show up in the Profile box at the top right of your posts.

Enjoy!

I say go for it if you think you can come up with one stranger than our beloved Patriot. :smiley_thumbs_up:

Admittedly, the Patriot's styling is (purposely) politically incorrect, in this day of rounded corners and aerodynamically efficient lines, as witnessed in every current SUV on the planet (well, except for the Commander or maybe the Land Rover) -- but that's why we luv it! Anyways, I used to own a distant cousin of the Patriot -- a bright red 1972 AMC(the Pat's grandfather) Gremlin I brought brand new in the same year. Its rear quarter pillar design (huge blind spot) bears an uncanny resemblance to the Nissan Murano (that association was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the Murano initially). Its most memorable 'feature' was the non-synchro 1st gear, 3-speed manual -- you had to come to a complete stop to shift into 1st! Those were the days...:blah:

A non-synchronised clutch? I had that on my 1963 Renault Dauphine, but that is to be expected. I thought by the era of the Gremlin, that everything was synchronised. My friend's dad had a V8 Gremlin that he had to special order. I always wondered about that man, and even more so when he later bought (special order) a Pacer with the famed "big-6" engine. Like father, like son, my friend bought a bright yellow-orange Hornet wagon for his first car replete with plaid vinyl upholstery. I say the death of AMC was really doing us a favour to redeem our credibility around the world

Hey, I once owned one while stationed in Europe. You're talking of the little 3-wheeler that the whole front opened up to a bench seat fitting two?
