Ok, so this is the first time I have ever driven off road like this. The trail was pretty crazy looking from inside the Jeep. My buddy had to get out to guide me over some rocks and stuff, also to take pictures. We also got saved by a couple guys in a Wranger who followed up back out in case we got stuck. They also guided me over the hardest stuff. Here's some pics and a link to a video. Had to go back up the same way I went down in the video ... pretty impressed with the Compass.

What size tires do you have? They look huge.. How did you get them to fit?

I thought it was 2.125" plus the tires are about an inch taller ... whatever it is, it was fun. I can only imagine the fun I could have in a Wrangler ... maybe in the next year or so that will be my new toy :)

What size are the tires you are running. Also what exhaust do you have? Looks like a lot of fun where you went, good to see a Compass offroading. One of the best looking Compass I've seen so far!

Thank you. I have Firestone Destination A/T 245/65/R17 tires. The exhaust is Borla muffler installed by a local muffler shop, not the cat-back Borla system. I had a blast doing this trail. I was kinda freaked out when I got to the bottom and my buddy was wrong and I had to go back up the same way I came in. I was impressed I made it out without that guy in the yellow wrangler having to winch me out or anything :)

This is in Bear Valley, Just up Highway 4 near Mosquito Lake a trail called Slick Rock .... It is absolutely beautiful up there. I spent a few days up there before doing "The Death Ride" (bicycle ride) so I had to find something to do :)

Um, without a location in your signature or stats, I'm not sure where Hwy 4 is, or Mosquito Lake...

Great pictures! It is good to see/show that the Compass will pass the same tests that the Patriot can do. My Compass has the 18" wheels and pretty streety tires. I might look for 17" wheels as an option though.

感谢分享,我冒昧把你的照片介绍给我的中国朋友
这个轮胎是个不错的选择,只是在中国没有这个品牌的轮胎。:notworthy:
Thanks to share your photos I take the liberty to introduce it to my Chinese friends
This tire is a good choice, but the Chinese do not have this brand of tires.
