I just picked up my Jeep yesterday and I LOVE it. It is a 5-speed manual. The only problem i am having is in first gear with the AC running full blast, the engine stutters frequently, to the point where I have the pedal almost fully depressed with the clutch out and no power at all, the vehicle doesn't budge. All of a sudden it will kick in with a rush of power. I am thinking that the Jeep sat on the lot and the gas may be bad. Waiting to drain this tank down to nothing and refill it.
Any other ideas?

When was made the jeep after march 2007 or before?
They have some issue with the software of the computer on board.

Thanks for the info guys. Problem seems to have disappeared after a new tank of gas. I will keep watching it though. Man, I love this ride!!

well I noticed that when A/C is running I have to give it much more gas when shifting and yes at times I feel very slight jerking,it's only when I press the gas pedal more agressively it goes away,it's nothing that I worry about though,it's just not as smoothe acceleration as I was used to with other [automatic tranny] cars
