Greetings!
Some of you may know me, but I am willing to bet that most of you have no idea who I am. I am TehKing, but my friends call me Matt.
Warning: Boring background stuff ahead!
A few years ago (ancient times in internet time) DMAG and I were both members and then moderators of http://www.dodgeintrepid.net. Upon the pending release of the LX (Dodge Magnum/Charger, Chrysler 300) and future announcement of an LY (Dodge Challenger) platform cars DMAG took it upon himself to start a little site called DodgeMagnum.net and he asked me if I would like to co-administrate and help him out with it. Of course I said "Yes!" Those cars were going to be awesome, and indeed they are. Fast forward a little and DodgeMagnum.net grew in leaps and bounds and is now known as http://www.lxforums.com, easily the #1 resource on the internet for all things LX/LY.
Fast forward a little more and DMAG had the foresight to start this wonderful website for the fantastic new Jeep. Well, as things go DMAG has become incredibly busy maintaining and running other sites in the Tek-Smart family and has asked if I would like to be the head honcho, big cheese, numero uno, big kahuna :blah: of JeepPatriot.com.
Of course I said "Yes!" It is easy to see that this site has the same wonderful membership base as LXForums and I am proud to take the task of working with all of you to build this site into the #1 Jeep Patriot resource!
End of boring background stuff.
Soon you will see some small but significant changes to the site. We are going to be adding a Vendor Section where vendors will be able to offer their parts and services to all of you. We will also soon be revamping The Knowledge Base into something much more user friendly and interactive. I am sure you all will love it! Future plans include an IRC based chat room, contests, vendor based group buys and much more!
Of course a web forum is a reflection of its membership. If any of you have any questions, comments, concerns or would like to see a specific feature on this site please, please do not hesitate to shoot me a PM, e-mail or contact me on any of the messenger services highlighted under my user name. My e-door is always open!
Your local friendly administrator,
TehKing
