Just to make sure, does your picture fit these constraints?

The maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 150 pixels or 73.2 KB (whichever is smaller).

Where is the picture that you are tying to add?

Pic is 499 X 137 and 16 kb
Photo is in My Pictures

Thanks

Try going to the picture in your album...
copy the BB code for the picture...
and paste that into the "your signature" window of edit signature
(don't use the "signature picture" area)...

There are several programs that you can use to resize the pictures.

I use an old version of Paint Shop Pro.

Others might be able to suggest alternatives.

Thread along same topic that mentions programs (http://jeeppatriot.com/forum/showthread.php?p=112064#post112064)

do we really need to see a signature picture over and over again?

do we really need to see a signature picture over and over again?

It adds color to life as well as being a way to expressing our likes and dislikes.

You mean like having to see the avatar picture over and over again?

Yep.

Forgive my ignorance, what is the BB code?

Thanks

I grabbed this from your picture album.
http://jeeppatriot.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=7&pictureid=38

This is what the BB Code looks like:
IMG]http://jeeppatriot.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=7&pictureid=38[/IMG
(there should be a [ at the start and a ] at the end, but in order to see the code instead of the picture I had to leave it off)

1. Go to your album
2. Click on one of the pictures
3. Your browser will go to that picture
4. Under the picture will be its title, a blurb about when you added it and 2 edit boxes of text. The first is titled "Picture URL" and the second is "BB Code".
5. Click in the box labeled "BB Code", select all of the text, and copy it (right click or ctrl-c)
6. Go to your UserCP and edit your signature.
7. Paste the BB Code in the same window where you currently have your name

Hang in there Gary, we'll get you set up. :smiley_thumbs_up:
