how do i know if my private messages are going through? i am trying to send private messages, but i cant see them in my "sent" box...

You go to UserCP, select List Messages under the Private Messages menu, and then select the Sent Items of Jump to Folder

If there are no items in that sent items folder then
either you have not successfully sent a private message
or
you don't have the save a copy of message to sent folder selected

The receipent may not have PM selected, but you should get a warning message...

Some may just not pay attention to their PM
