All,

I was driving on Rt. 2 near Sandusky, Ohio and I saw a Darker Gray looking Jeep Patriot with the silver bumpers (must have been limited ed.).

It was bright daylight and two other people in the car agreed with me that it was not Black or Green. I also don't think it was Khaki because it did not have any brown in it.


Is it possible that I saw a 2008 prototype or something? Could it be the new black version?

On Wednesday I spotted my third Jeep Patriot. It was steel blue, but at first it looked charcoal gray. My buddy thought for sure that it was gray; I had to convince him that it was the Steel Blue paint. Maybe this is what you saw..?

Its possible that it is steel blue, but I've seen the steel blue Jeep Liberty and this just looked gray to me.

Now I wish I would have caught up with the guy and took pictures.

Sounds like it is the steel Blue!
I have the steel blue and it is a blend between grey and blue-
it looks nothing like the other jeep blues-

I really didn't like it at first- but it's growing on me!

I have the steel blue, and have to agree, in the proper lighting, or if it is dusty, it does look gray.
