We're going to Anza-Borrego/Occotillo Wells; July 25th, 2009. It shouldn't be too hard for you guys to get a Saturday off, and it will probably be one of the last times our Patriot sees the off-road.

We have one thing to figure out: The Date. I would like it to be no later than July 26th. Let me know people. I'm tired of the "lets make a meet" threads, that don't happen. I'm going to do this.

While i am not from the area,
know what you mean with the lets meet threads that fade to oblivion.
think to get people to go, someone has to take control,
dont throw date/place up in the air, no one will ever agree,
you started it, you pick the date, place, tell them to come!!!!

Probably a good idea. I'll make it Saturday, July 25th, 2009. It should NOT be difficult for people to make it to a Saturday meet-up.

We will be going out to AnzaBorrego/Ocotillo Wells this weekend for a day or two, if you guys wanna join up, we're leaving on thurs, and may be there as long as up to Saturday; we just don't know how long we'll be there yet, I have 4 days off work (Aug 6-9th), and we had planned this for 2 weeks now. If anybody wants to drive up there, we're gonna be up there at least for Thurs/Friday (Aug 6-7th) maybe longer.. dunno yet.

At this point, it's a little short notice, but it's only a couple hours drive from here for us.
But, anybody who want's to join is welcome to. It'd be fun to see more than 1 crazy "fake jeep" playing out there.
PM / email me if you're gonna show, i'll send you our phone number or something while we're up there if you want to meet. We will likely be right off the 78 Freeway where the SVRA starts.

Well, we're leaving at some point tomorrow, we're bringing our dog with us, too. If anybody wants to show, you're welcome to, ours is the Patriot with the ugly dent in the rear passenger quarter-panel.

We cancelled - way too windy, and we didn't realize there was an 'off-season' to the desert.. lol Way Windy + lots of sand = no fwd Jeep, or tents.. lol

But, we are going to finalize the purchase of Levi tomorrow (my big Jeep), then proceed to get him running and driving over the 3 days I have left, off. :D
