Does the new 09 patriot come with a transmission cooler? It looks like it does.
2 hoses go from trans to a thin radiator looking assembly that is mounted in front of the radiator. Does this cooler work for only the trans? I did not get tow package, but this does look like a transmission cooler...is it?

With the FDIIs, it comes with a engine oil cooler, haven't heard the Patriot with a transmission cooler?

early on, i noticed that,
and thought man that looks like its prone to leaks,
its not the oil cooler,
Oil cooler is not air cooled, its canister type via engine coolant,
I believe someone pointed out what your thinking is an AC cooler of some sort,

Yes, Terasec is correct. You have the engine rad, air conditioning rad and lastly engine oil cooler. The engine oil cooler is right above your oil filter.
The smaller rad you see is in fact for air conditioning.
