Hi Jeep Fans!
Long time ago it must be in the early 90s my girlfriend and i had a discussion about cars.
We found out that we both loves Jeeps but back in time we didnīt had much money to afford one.
Years later we married got 2 nice kids and had 2 dogs so we decided to go for Minivans.
We put our Jeep dream on hold for the future.
Well at least some of you US guys and gals may wonder why someone from germany the land of VW Mercedes Audi Opel and BMWs
want a US car? The answer is simple. We wanted something different and after 10 years of Minivans it was about time.
In 2007 i learned that the Jeep Patriot exist and i started collecting informations about SUVs.
I didnīt liked the way SUVs headed in the meantime. I didnīt found all those rounded car looking SUVs interesting at all but when i looked at the first image of the Patriot i thought wow. Cool Jeep.
We had to wait until 2009 before we got our Pat.
In the meantime i stick around here on Jeeppatriot.com found many friends even if virtual only.
It makes so much fun checking new posts here everyday. People are nice and friendly.
Might be that Jeep lovers has the same spirit.
After a long waiting time we got our Jeep Patriot CRD limited and we love it. A Jeep that fits our needs and it looks so cool! We got only positive reactions from friends and family about it. Sure i learned on this board that the Pat has it pros and cons but i wonīt swap. With the Pat i found back my driving pleasure. Before the Pat a car was a transport unit only for me bringing me from A to B but know it brought back the fun to drive.
Now you voted me to be June POTM. Even if itīs a fun contest without many rules i canīt deny that iīm a bit proud of it.
I still need to figure out why you nominated and voted me but maybe because i am one of the the avarage Joes on this great board here? I dunno.
I just have to say thank you! Thank you Jeep for this great compact SUV. Thank you Gaze for running this board.
And finaly thank you moderators and members for this great online community!
