This seems impossible to find, I visited three dealers. I'm talking new and used. Anyone know where you can find one of these? No trail badges anywhere.

Even prior to the factory shut down, FDIIs were very very hard to find. As I have to factory ordered mine.
Now, it's even worse, as what ever is left of the FDIIs pretty much are all gone after the May 1st shut down. Owners of FDIIs are holding on to them b/c it is a great on-road & off-road vehicle. You might have to wait till the restructure is over or for a 2010 model.

I ordered mine in mid-march and it is still sitting in the assembly plant lot in belvidere. Have to wait until restructuring is complete before it is shipped.

I ended up ordering because there was not one FDII with all of the options I wanted to be found in southern ontario. Only a couple in all of Ontario even had the FDII option at all.

So, here I sit and wait. Good part is that I found this site shortly after I ordered and am learning many good things....a few bad (water leak issues) before I even get my own pat to play with.

Strange, i was lucky enough, as i ordered mine March 28th, but order did not get into Jeep until April 1st. My Patriot was built by April 28th just b/f they closed factory May 1st, railed out to Kent, WA by May 9th, up to Dealer in Greater Vancouver by May 12, picked it up Friday, May 15th. Enjoying it ever since. :smiley_thumbs_up:

That is strange. The original ship date I was given was April 29. Things got a little bogged down I guess and the vehicle didn't actually get completed until right before Chrysler USA started its restructuring. I guess it didn't get out before things shut down. Hopefully, things get moving in the next week or so. Then I can join the rest of you as an actual Pat owner.

Did you get a VIN number from the selling dealer? As once the dealer puts in your order, they should have received a VIN #. With that you can call Chrysler & track the vehicle process yourself.

I do have a VIN#, don't need it though. I know exactly where the vehicle is and how long it is going to take. I received a forwarded email from the VP of Chrysler Canada informing me that I will not receive my vehicle until the restructuring is complete. In Ontario, they have 120 days from the order date to get my vehicle to me before I can really say too much. Not too big a deal anyway, kind of knew this was a possibility once chapter 11 was filed in the US.

But, back on topic, if you want a FDII you will pretty much have to order it as that is pretty much the only way to get one. As others have said, you may have to wait until they start making the 2010 model though.

Pretty good list of options, but not FDII, likely no Security & Cargo Grp for that price.

Hmm, thought I remembered the FDII's were the only ones with tow hooks and the Trail Rated badge.

it's got hooks and a trail rated badge. thus, it's an FDII

You are correct! I only looked at the thumb nail pics. Reading the fine print, seems you need a trade of $2 - 3K on top of the listed price.

Sorry, no idea. I had to order mine to get what I wanted, the off road package is a must have for me. I actually take mine off road every weekend. The winters are the toughest, and I also have 4 chains that I use most weekends in the winter.

I am looking for a replacement bumper, brush guard, and winch to fit. No luck yet.

Thanks, still not exactly what I want, yet, I'll keep looking. Once there are more of these on the road there will be more aftermarket parts.

I did see the RR lift kit on the forum here, and now am interested in that too. Just 2 inches more would be great, and make it easier to put the chains on too.
