That's right! Now you can nominate a member for having the Patriot of the Month!

Each member will be allowed to nominate TWO members to become this month's POTM! Please simply separate your two entries by a comma and I will count both of them in the final tally. Also, be sure to get BOTH of your nominees on ONE ballot. I will only accept the first ballot I receive from each member.

Nominations will be taken until midnight, Midnight, May 26th. Afterwards, the the voting will run for a week (which will include the top four members who received the most nominations)! I will ask for a brief write up from each member regarding their Patriot.

NEW RULE: A member can no longer nominate themselves. I think this will really cut back on amount of members receiving only one nomination (from themselves, naturally). I think it would really help the cream rise to the top and we'd get to see who is truly admired for their hard work around here.

Since I do have to nominate two, Wade is my other choice. One of many friends who was a cheerleader for me in my long, hard road to owning a Riot, a fellow Floridian, and he didn't stop loving me even though I didn't get a SBO! :p

I nominated Will_H and Gramps. It seemed to me that they had some big contributions a while back that have been referenced a few times.

I think they deserve some recognition.

Normally, I don't post who I nominate, but I will this time.

I think Dawson, from the Rocky MKs group, has done a lot to promote Jeeps and the MK's in particular. He has been active in promoting off-road/camping trips in Colorado.

My other choice is Will H. A fellow Hoosier, seeing his 'expertise' on the trails was just well . . . . great!

Yes and no. There was a previous month when a debate arose on whether voting should be influenced based on photos or contribution to the forum. Some people expressed their opinion that photos swayed their decision and I expressed the opinion that I didn't care about photos, it was how much that person had contributed to the forum. I'm not trying to resurrect that debate but I would hope before everyone votes they really stop and think what the nominees have contributed, not just how cool or tough their Patriot looks. Heck, I would have voted for Rends before he ever got his Patriot if it were permissible because he is an integral part of what makes this forum so good.

Not even aware of such a debate. Sorry you took my Pic thing so seriously. But then I guess we can't always know what the guy at the other end is thinking or means. Joking or being an --- ----.
