In honor of this Sunday being Father's Day....

"I cannot think of any need in childhood as strong as the need for a father's protection." -- Sigmund Freud

Do any of you father's know what your doing for your day!

Father's Day sigh!! My father in law took off the Eastern Oregon. My father passed in 2001 so I'll be taking flowers to his site.

Happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there

AND by the way I liked the quotes

Wife and Daughter lined up dinner at the Steak House in Harrahs Reno for me on Sat. So a great meal, a excellent glass of wine, and a very good Cigar(Wife gave me a 3 pack of Davidoff Zino Crowns) for this man.

OK Freezal, I nominate you to be the pioneer over the Rubicon when you get your Patriot. :smiley_thumbs_up:

I drove from South Lake Tahoe to Stockton years ago. Somewhere between CA Hwy 89, to CA 88 to CA 4, as I rounded a curve just after dusk, I could clearly see the San Joaquin Valley below. I could see the lights of several good size cities surrounded by darkness: Sacramento, then darkness, then the lights of Stockton, then darkness, then the lights of Modesto. I thought "How cool! I should get a picture up ahead!" But the road was twisting and turning and climbing and dropping, and I never saw a safe spot to pullout, and therefore never captured that on film.

But someday, I will be back to find that one curve, just because it was so cool....and I will find a place to stop and enjoy the moment. If you have any idea where specifically this is (ie 4.6 miles south of Ebbets Pass), I would love to know...

Oh, and here's hoping all Father's have a great day....Spend the day Jeeping with the family, BBQing, and appreciate all the love and joy that we get from our families....
