Nearly 1, 000 students and music educators from across the country form the outline of the United States, the first five words of the national anthem and "Jeep" at FedExField in Landover, Md., to celebrate the finale of the National Anthem Project on Flag Day. The national education effort, created by the MENC and sponsored by Jeep, focused on re-teaching Americans the words to "The Star-Spangled Banner" after a Harris Poll showed that two out of three Americans don't know the words. The formation measured approximately 160 ft. wide by 250 ft. long.
