Sooooo is there anyone else interested in going? Heck there's got to be more than just two of us from the site taking the plunge. Looks like I've got a coulpe of non jeep vehicles interested in going from work.

Looks like not. I blame the economy. I still got pleanty of room on the 'ol credit card for the bank that keeps getting bailed out by the taxpayer. So I'm going, come hell and hopfully high-water.

If the weather is good, I'm gonna make this a two-day adventure. Off-roading with you on day one, and my "Boat in a Backpack" camping adventure on day two. The water should be perfect for Kayakin at Turkey Run State Park this time of year.

I have been trying to find a way to make this trip, but we have a yearly camping trip to sandusky every memorial day weekend.

Plus I have a wedding coming up, so im saving vacation days.

Im going to see what I can do, but it not looking possible at this point.

The stuff I keep ranting about in the political friends has finally come to pass. My roomate- who's job is NOT recession-proof and now makes less money than a gumball machine, is moving out on the first of June. That's actually not a big deal itself. I was actually looking forward to haveing the place to myself and was going to finance the trailride with a seemingly endless supply of credit.

But.... I catch wind that this little bastard was planning a underage drinking/pool party on the 31st of May (when I'm working 12 hrs till 1am) without telling me. He then vanishes the day after that.

So, I'm now on lockdown mode. I canceled the party and "threatened" anyone who shows up anyway. I'm installing two locking doorknobs between him and my arsonal. I'm hiring someone to watch the apartment on the last weekend to make sure he doesn't do anything but move out and I'm not spending a single night out of my apartment until he's long gone... so I can't make the trailride.

Take this thread over if you wish, Will. I hope somebody else goes so you have a buddy. If not, then I can't tell you how sorry I am and hope that I can one day make it up to you.

Geeez, I hope everything works out you and we'll make a later date for the ride. Sounds like this is a good thing to be getting rid of someone that would do something like that and tell you. Maybe we can set a date when everything is back to normal.

Even after sleeping, I'm still pissed beyond imagination. ANGRY! I said "I HAD TO CANCEL GOING ON A DAMN TRAILRIDE BECAUSE I CAN'T TRUST YOU!" He acts like he feels bad and said that he chose Sunday cause that was his only day off... and he didn't invite me cause he knew I wouldn't be able to make it. BS! He knew I'd say hell no, that's why. It sure does feel good knowing that I foiled his plan to screw me over and it feels even better giving him the impression that he's now living with a derranged, raving, psychopath.

The first one lists the places to go and what dates are best for everyone. We debate and compromise and the determine when and where we are going. I then make and announcement thread, much like this.
