Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried connecting any other bluetooth devices to the U-Connect system other than a phone? I know some GPS devices can connect via bluetooth to your phone. I was just wondering how the system would react to a GPS/U-Connect connection without the phone in the mix. In theory it should work...

it may connect to the GPS puck, however the cars U-connect wont know what to do with it once or if it does connect... It'll require some type of control capable device to connect to the puck to understand what the information is the puck is sending.
In other words... in the world of GPS there are two types of devices. The Controller (Generally a PDA, Phone, or Computer) and the Accessories (like a GPS Puck, mouse, keyboard, etc..). In this case the Car is an Accessory, it acts like a bluetooth headset. The Phone or PDA is the actual Controller or device that contains the brains or know how to understand how to control the U-Connect "device" and the data it generates.
Generally you can not just connect two accessory devices.. its just not right, its like two boys #$*&ing...
