Read in the press release the Europe version of the Patriot will get a 2.0 Litre diesel engine option. What are the chances it will also be offered in the USA?
Here in Germany I was able to look at a Diesel powered Caliber at the local dealership, didn't get to drive it but the install looked good and it sold the next day so I think there is a market here for them. I'd jump on a European spec one but I'll be returning to the USA after my tour here so I will need a US Spec model. Seeing the Caliber with the diesel engine here showed me they can do it but makes me wonder what the hold up is releasing a US diesel.
Wonder if there is a form we can send in to DC asking for a US Diesel :)
