Went to Wharton State Forest in South Jersey today and hooked up with some other there Jeepers. I don't think they thought I'd be able to keep up with them with all the mud holes, but only got stuck in one and that was because the guy ahead of me got stuck and kept digging the hole deeper. In fact after they pulled him out, no one got through without the help of a towstrap. The Pat perfomed way above my expectations and everyonen elses. They thought they'ed be costanatly pulling me out of holes just riding around with a stock Pat. I think they have a new respect for it now.
Once I get additioinal pics t hat one of the others took I'll post them.
You may be able to see the water though did come up to almost midway of the doors and the inside stayed dry :)
I did use the "low" gear for the deeper holes.
The Pat got a couple of "battlescars" from the bushes and branches but other than that came out unscathed.

I had the dealer put them on. I ordered them with the Jeep and he put them on before delivery..Actually it wasn't bad $200.00 for the lights installed, though I've heard some dealers chaarging abotu $500.

Taz, thx for the flashback! My old stompin' grounds. Guess you were just off Rts. 70 & 72? or in between!
How 'bout a shot goin' up Apple Pie Hill next time? or Carranza!

I left just before they went to Apple Pie Hill since it was getting a bit late. We went down Chew road and went into the woods by Sandy Causeway, came out by Central rr tracks and crossed Chew road again onto Sandy Causeway to the "Soup bowl", then onto narrow trail, pass the sewer pipe graveyard and back onto 206 by Ninas Cafe. Went to Hampton Road by Hampton Furnace, looped around and went to high crossing, then took the narrow trail to Carranza were I left. Those are the notes that one of the guys sent me when I asked him if he could tell me where we were since I wanted to "see it" on a map.
Still waiting for him to get back to me with the pics he took

I think you've slightly misunderstood the whole "off-roading pictures" thing... ;)

For sure you've gained some respect from other jeepers on that trip...
Now they know that the PAT can go toe to toe with other jeeps when it comes to offroading...

it proves that you got a tough off road ride you get in there... all the mud are on the body and all other the tires.
