Wondering how the Patriot and Compass (MK bodies) are selling?
Check out the JeepPatriot.com Exclusive MK Sales Page (http://www.jeeppatriot.com/forum/goto.php?section=sales)!
Every month we will update the sales of both Jeeps so we can all see how well Jeep's newest additions stack up against the competition.
Check out the MK Sales Page HERE (http://www.jeeppatriot.com/forum/goto.php?section=sales) (or in the "Quick Links" menu in the navbar)
Quick Question: Since the Caliber is built on the same platform, would anybody want those numbers added as well? Or should we just keep it Jeeps?
SMJPG2008 06-08-2007, 09:16 PM Hmmmm........ I personally am interested in the Jeeps! That's my opinion haha!!
I've seen one Compass and I test drove it. I've seen one Patriot and a lady here in town bought it. Amazing to see the sales of the two vehicles.
jeepmuck 06-08-2007, 10:43 PM Amazing to see the sales of the two vehicles.
Should be even more amazing to see it in the next few months. Compass sales seem to be stabilizing, but the Patriot just overtook it last month. It should be interesting to see what the take rate between the 2 models eventually becomes.
As for Caliber numbers, if you guys want to throw those in, go ahead. I'd be interested in seeing those. The Caliber seems to be the one of the 3 I see the most. Of course, its been out the longest!
SMJPG2008 06-08-2007, 11:25 PM The salesman that's selling us ours said when the one Patriot came in they had tons and tons of phone calls of people asking about it. I see more Calibers in this area but our Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler lot don't have many either. I think the Patriot is going to take off. When I talk to people about what I'm buying I tell them why I decided on it. Many factors. Gas mileage, affordable, love the look, plus hubby told me that I was buying a Jeep because everytime we'd buy a new rig I'd say "We should of bought a Jeep!" I considered many different rigs. I went Patriot, no caliber, no nitro, no xterra, went back to the Patriot, I had my mind made up on day one haha!!
Bobbyt 06-09-2007, 12:48 PM It's interesting to note that the Patriot doesn't seem to be cannibalizing Compass sales, as some predicted. For that reason, I'd like to see the little Dodge's numbers - maybe some of the Patriot's buyers are coming from the other side of the Pentastar.
How about sales figures for the Liberty? Perhaps THAT'S where the Pat's buyers are coming from...?
jeffrow75 06-09-2007, 12:55 PM it's a jeep thing
jucharlie 06-10-2007, 02:10 PM I am completely new to jeep. The MK (pat & compass) is what got me interested in jeep (due to gas mileage, affordability, versatility, off road capability). In the past, probably would have went Nissan or Toyota. I am wondering how many people went Jeep based on the MK designs?

djp_63 06-28-2007, 07:36 AM I am sort of a cross-over Dodge guy. I was interested in a Caliber, but I wasn't buying anything until I saw the Patriot too. As a former Cherokee owner, I was anxious to see what the Patriot was like. I am glad I waited. I wouldn't mind seeing Caliber numbers.

JoeBecker 08-01-2007, 03:42 PM Do you have July 07 numbers yet?
Curious to see if the Patriot kept up momentum or fell with the parent company.
hunter44102 08-01-2007, 04:01 PM 3,317
Compass plunged to 2591.
(from Marketwatch: http://www.marketwatch.com/news/story/chrysler-group-announces-july-2007/story.aspx?guid=%7B88C90CFE%2DDA75%2D4B86%2DA346%2 D94668AD4A5B1%7D&dist=TQP_Mod_pressN
They should both pick up next month because of the Lifetime warranty. All automakers seem doing pretty bad in July.
The Sales page has been updated. Not a pretty month!
Rictus58 08-01-2007, 04:16 PM You might be able to rationalize the drop because of the pending release of the 08.
djp_63 08-01-2007, 04:23 PM Is it because there are not many to buy? The Sebring, which was stated to be flop, had sales of just below 3000. I like the Sebring and would buy one if I wanted a nice sedan.
JoeBecker 08-01-2007, 04:34 PM There are plenty to buy...
there are at least 50 in the indianapolis area for sale
only 1 like what I want and the dealer is not willing to go much below msrp.
so I shall wait...
besides it will be interesting to see what the Surf Blue looks like in real life.
P.S. I thought that the article about the sales was funny when it came to the Compass. They called it a success because it had more sales this July than last, but failed to mention it was more than 2000 off its peak.
Rictus58 08-01-2007, 05:00 PM Why did the article say
"Compass has best month ever "
Clearly isn't the vehicles best month ever.
JoeBecker 06-15-2008, 12:18 AM April and May numbers not on sales page yet, tis the ides of June...
craig03 06-17-2008, 11:36 PM Well you will prob. see some great deals on the compass as its not being produced for 2009. Jeep is discontinuing the Commander and the Compass and Keeping the Patriot, Grand Cherokee, and the Liberty.
Jeep is discontinuing the Commander and the Compass
Where did that come from? I've read nothing of the sort.
