Looks like Fiat might not go in with Chrysler , After all. They may have the option to purchase the Vauxhall-Opel arm of GM , if they sell it off. THis will give them a strong European base, A market they understand far better than the North American market!!:doh:

So does that mean Fiat was Chryslers only chance for survival and now that they changed their minds Chrysler is going under?

I may have jumped the Gun a Bit!! On checking another Website it says that FIAT may want to complete its Tie-In with Chrysler first & then see what is on offer from a break up of GM---I just hope they have the money!!

I've heard that this offer won't go on. Fiat isn't anymore intrested for Chrysler LLC or to buy a package of Chrysler

When the CEO of FIAT was asked by a Morgan Stanley Exec. why FIAT wont put any money into Chrysler he replied" The same reason that Morgan Stanley wont!--Touch' !!

I hope that the banks that have the credits of chrysler are going to say yes to fiat.
