OK Lower Mainland (Vancouver, BC) owners, it's about bloody time we got together on some of our awesome local FSR's. The snow's finally disappearing.

I'm thinking of Vedder Mountain in Chilliwack. I've seen a 2WD Toyota Matrix make it up the road a couple years ago (but been beaten to pieces in the process). I've been up it before my lift and scraped bottom a couple times, but no long lasting damage occured. The biggest challenge on the main road are deep waterbars that require technique I can teach.

There are also side trails to explore that range from mild to extreme. We'll be staying well away from the extreme.



2X4's are also more than welcome to ride along. There's a parking lot at the bottom (Cultus Lake) that we can do a group photo, and if you're not comfortable taking the 2by up the road, ride along with an FDI or FDII! We'll need a camera person too!

It's about an hour and a bit from North Van, 10 minutes off Hwy 1. There's an obligatory stop at KFC in the 'wack for some take out lunch on the mountain.
