I saw in a couple of threads that some people could not de-activate the horn for locking the doors. I challenged (jokingly) my salesman to do this, telling him about the possible problem. His reply was pluging a computer into a reciever under the dash on the driver side. This thing was incredible; he could program lots of stuff from how long the seat belt warning signal runs to - of course- wether or not the horn works when you lock your doors.
Just wanted to put this info out there for you all. Salesman said he tried by following instructions from owner's manual or something, and that did not work.

I've been reading this thread and it just (duh) occured to me, after Kath's comment, that on my wife's WJ, she can activate/deactivate the horn using the EVIC system.

I don't have that option in my XJ, The Green Lean Thrashing Machine.
