They are starting to rust along the edges. I am unsure if it is from the wheel guides you drive into at the touchless car wash, or just the road salt that has done it.
I do know for a fact I do not rub against curbs.
Regardless, they look like crap anyway.
Id like to keep the same rubber and get different rims in order to keep the cost down. . Can anybody in the Greater Toronto Area suggest a trust worthy place I may go to and check it out?
I did see the other rims the dealers installed on the other patriots (Im assuming a different package) and would consider going something that route as well.
In a nut shell, Im looking for praticality with some nice looks...Im not one to over spend for the sake of showing off.
Thanks

I powder coated my OEM rims. It was $40 a wheel but they are rust proof now.

HHmm...wish I knew about that...powder coating..
My truck is silver so the rims looked appropriate for them when I bought them..now I want to move on

Mine have rust on them after one winter as well. I'm going to touch them up when the weather gets a little nicer. I imagine it's just road sand wearing down the paint enough that the road salt caused some surface rust.
Nothing really lasts in the road crap, we've had alloy rims oxidize and look like hell after one or 2 winters.
I might give these painted alloy rims a go next winter....figure they will be easy to touch up, and won't rust at least. They look pretty good in person, and I've seen them on a few cars. Likely get them on sale for $50-$60 a piece.

Ya know what hitzy?
I may very well get those from Canadian Tire as well...sure seem cheap enough..
Then when my rubbers all worn out..upgrade to some nice 17"ers if I still like the vehicle.
