I've been seeing lots of Google ads for the Ford Fusion and Ford Canada's web site scattered throughout various threads. The ads are in the main body of the page rather than on the side menus. Interesting. I believe the way internet marketing works is that ads are directed to you based on your IP address, the IP address of your service provider, and perhaps cookies from other sites you've visited. Is anyone else in Canada seeing Ford ads, or is it just me because I still own a Focus (for about another day - until I take delivery of the Patriot and we do the trade-in)?

If I could figure out how to put pictures in my posts then I could show you the jeep ads...

How Google works is that it first reads the text on the page then displays an ad that is based on the content of the page.

If we had 5 posts regarding shoes...there'd probably be an ad about shoes.

Granted, it also looks at your location. If Jeep is not targeting a certain area with their ads through google, you may not end up getting a Jeep ad.

On this page I get Jeep ads.

Thanks Anthony. I figured it was something like that. Not a problem, just a curiosity.
