I just haggled for a while and found a jeep that suits are liking but its about 4k more than we wanted to spend.
We can get a Chrysler Discount and a few other incentives the car comes to around $30500 taxes included. Thats a 4x4 limited, sunroof, customer appreciation package, touring wheels and 6 disc changer. Basically, totally loaded.
I got a paid quote from carcostcanada and this is pretty much dead on, invoice pricing...
So I know its a good deal, but a little high maybe with financing.
Do you guys think leasing is a waste? Can I do even better in terms of pricing?

Bang for you buck, I doubt you'll find anything even close. I know it's more than you want to spend - but the alternative sucks.
Good luck.

Yeah..
I've got a lead on another... it's black, north version, pretty done up..
Assuming we can get the same price we're looking at around $27,900
So for $2000 bucks more we're in a lot more vehicle.
CarCostCanada is saying the financing/lease rates are only good until May 31. Does that mean we might see new rates on the first?

I am curious what is in the customer appreciation package...
In my experience and this is my 5th new car, Dealers and auto finance companies change rates monthly and/or sometimes quarterly and tend use the upcoming change to help pressure you into a purchase. Just because the rates are supposed to change doesn't mean they will necessarily go higher or get worse worse or possibly change at all. Its like financial roulette.

Sorry, I said that wrong.. Didnt mean "customer appreciation pack"
meant "Driver Convenience Group"
man, I was out of it last night
I guess my concern is its still 30k after taxes.... for a chrysler product... with not the greatest warranty..

Shoot I understand that in one of my posts I was referring to a Ford Escape but called it an Explorer...

I think the best decision here is to hold out.
I like the limited but this ones a little overkill for us. I think the best deal going on the Jeep Patriot is the base model with air conditioning.
We're going to let this one go.

I custom ordered a North 4x4 MT with several toys. My neighbor is a retired Chrysler exec so I got the friends and neighbors discount. Mine listed for $24.5 and after discount $23.
Three weeks later it arrived. We have had ours for a few days now. Love it

I have been looking at a red North 4X4 that is sitting on a dealer's lot for the past two months. Right now I can't get it because I have some unexpected work that has to be done on my house and I am not sure what it is going to cost me. I had this vehicle out for a drive and I was impressed. But the thing is it is getting closer to the time that 08s will be out and maybe waiting is better for now. I wonder what a 2007 will cost when the 08s appear.
