I'm the April 2008 POTM? Hopefully this is not some sort of cruel April Fool's joke.

After being nominated so many times (8), I am not really sure how to respond to actually winning the vote except to say, thank you.

I began my search for a family friendly vehicle in January of 2007. I had narrowed it to two - the Honda Pilot and a very unknown Jeep Patriot. While searching for information about the Patriot, I happened upon this site. I was still not sure so I just lurked around for a while. In April of 2007, I decided that I would join the site (somewhere close after the 1000th member) and was going to get a Patriot.

I did not actually pull the trigger on the purchase until after the '08s came out (wanted to see the Surf Blue in person). The wife shot down that color so we ordered the Steel Blue and picked it up in November 2007.

I am very happy with my Patriot.
The members on this site have been a lot of help and a lot of fun.
I look foward to many more enjoyable years.
