Just curious what is the max mph you have driven on your patriot 4x2. I´m about to get one and would like to know just curiosity.

Just don't try it in front of a black trail rated Patriot. Based on how strong it runs you should easily get a 4x2 up to the 112 mph governed maximum. I am sure it would have a few more mph before the engine taps out say around 118 mph. A chip change could get you perhaps another 10 mph. Of course you would be nuts to do this as the tires are not up to it and you will be airborne somewhere along the way unless modifications are done.

Fastest I've had my Pat2wd is around 85mph and that was passing a bad driver on the highway. I've really no want or need to see how fast it will go... it's not made to go fast. That's what I use my '65 Mustang for. ;)

So I may take some flak for this but I was curious too.

I made it to 100mph - too fast for me but she felt stable.

If I was missing a few more brain cells I may have pushed for a bit more - but that was good enough.

had mine to 160kph (100 mph) and still wanted to go faster, our front end is more flush than youre versions so stabilty may be better at high speeds;)...mind you its still only a week and a half old so dont wanna break it yet

I live in Holland but only 20 km from the German border.
On many roads in Germany , there is NO speedlimit

The max with my Patriot was 160 kmh (100 mph) but the fastest was 250 kmh (155 mph) with a Audi A4 RS and it was LEGAL.
The A4 was limited by factory at 250 kmh, but we had a lot off fun.

its too bad the patriot is governed, i wonnderd why i couldnt go any faster at 180km/h had the power to, but no matter if i dropped to 4th gear, it made no differance,

Two words: JATO Rocket! (well, in this case something that replicates a JATO rockets power)

i did 120mph yesterday and it was still picking up speed , i let off in fear of breaking the speedo ?????

i have only drove it 2 times at speed but this little dude is strong i thought the speed limiter would kick in but never felt a twitch ..
handeling was very stable taking highway curves here in eastern kentucky with a strong crosswind..
