Just got my Patriot today :pepper:. Been driving it around and I love it! It's my first Jeep(my brother has a Wrangler), didn't go off-road today but I can't wait! I got a Jeep Green Sport, 5 speed and the 25E package. I have a question about the 25E package: the brochures I have seen say fog lamps come in the package, but mine didn't have them. Is that right or should I see about get the dealer to add them? Mine also didn't come with the speed control either which I thought was in the package but they are adding that. I don't think it will be like the controls in the Premium Steering Wheel Group which would have been nice to have. I am involved in Boy Scouts and can't wait to get the Patroit up in the Colorado High Country. I think the Patroit and I will become great friends but "it's a Jeep thing" right?

The Patriot seems to like the high altitudes. You would think that the 4 cylinder would be gutless at 6100 ft in CO Springs but not so. It gets off the line well, keeps pulling on the freeway and is fun to drive. I see a bunch of the 3.7L Libertys on the road here but I'll just smile and wave as I go by them when they are getting gas :). I'll definitely get some pictures and when the Fall comes, OH MY! will those pictures be good! BTW: I totally blew my user name, sorry folks, maybe I can get it changed. :(

Rockin' man. Eagle Scout myself. I took my Patriot up to Rocky Mtn. Nat'l Park this weekend, drove EXCELLENT. Noticed I haven't been getting the best mileage (ave. 21), but still better than expected for a SUV going UP. First problem however, battery light came on about a mile from home, then the other dash lights started to come on and go off. HMMMMMM.... Maybe we'll have to get somethin goin on this summer CO_
